Happy Housesitters International

We picked Linda and Tony up from Granada airport, and by the time we reached our home, it was like they were old friends. They are warm, friendly, and have a great sense of humour.

We asked them to arrive a few days before we left for our trip so that we could ensure they were confident with Albies routine and injections. Albie is diabetic so he needs insulin every 12 hours and regular blood glucose tests. Linda took this role on and was very confident. Tony took care of the big boy, Bruno. He has lupus and needs cream on his nose and regular medication, too.

We left for our 2-week trip feeling slightly anxious but confident in the knowledge that Tony and Linda were going to be great pet sitters.

Albie did throw us a couple of curve balls in the first few days with low blood sugar levels, but Linda and Tony Whatsapped us on a regular basis so I was able to talk them through the blip.

They regularly posted videos and photos of the gang. They all looked happy and relaxed, which made us feel happy and relaxed.

Nothing was too much trouble for Tony and Linda. They were very calm, very efficient, and at every point they put our gang first. Maisie fell in love with both of them, she can be demanding but she looked very happy cuddled up with Tony!!

On our return, everyone was very happy to see us, we had a lovely platter of tapas waiting for us, and Linda cooked us an amazing meal with a dessert made by Tony. The house was spotlessly clean, even fresh bedding on our bed, which we really appreciated as we were quite jet lagged.

We would welcome Linda and Tony back, either to stay with us or definitely to pet sit. They are wonderful people, interesting, funny and kind. Thank you, guys!
