Linda and Tony deserve a 10/10 for our extended almost 3-week house sit. I had an inkling of how great they would be when we had our first video chat and she had a 'questionnaire" intake ready to ask me about our house and the pets and all our preferences. Linda was so well prepared and so well organized - it is clear that she and Tony are professionals and take this vocation seriously.
And that sense of professionalism carried through during their visit. I needed their help to DHL my son's passport to us overseas with his study abroad visa in it. Linda and Tony took care of it and then found the cheaper way to do it while getting it to us with more than enough time. They sent us periodic photos of our pet and they gave us updates on the weather, walking the dog even in 6" of snow. Tony even picked my husband and daughter up from the airport at 6:30am in the morning and left the car full of gas!
This was not an easy sit because our cat was in questionable health when we left. Although the cat had just had a good checkup with the vet and a clean bill of health with all normal bloodwork, he had not been eating well for months and we weren't sure if he was just being finicky or if there was actually something wrong. Well, turns out the cat was not well at all and ended up passing while we were gone. Linda and Tony were on it but unfortunately it was too late (I think the cat had renal failure that became acute after his recent physical). Anyhow, a distressing situation for everyone but they handled it so professionally even arranging for the cat's cremation with the vet and a paw print plaque for my daughter with which to remember her cat. They cleared out the cats things and left them in a corner in our garage, which was another thoughtful touch on arrival at home.
We were so pleased with Linda and Tony that we've booked them again for a sit in March and will be switching vets for our surviving dog! If you have a chance to use them for an extended stay, consider yourself lucky and book them!
